The Kuan Do has a long handle and a blade that has a hook or notch used for catching the enemy's weapon. The tassel that dangles from the blade is for distraction.
Slicing is the most common technique used with the Kuan Do. The Kuan Do was a heavy weapon and was primarily used whilst on horseback.
